Charlie Soffe (b. 1995) is a London-based multidisciplinary artist working across screen print, metal, and sound installation. His practice operates through a feedback loop of image-making processes, combining self-shot material, collage, and early AI systems to produce distorted, unstable forms that sit between analogue and digital space.

Working with what he describes as a “high-tech, low-life” approach, Soffe explores the conditions of a fractured post-modernity, where technological advancement coexists with psychological and social dissonance. His works draw on the visual and rhythmic structures of the city, treating urban space as a living, bodily system defined by repetition, flow, and density.

Material process is central to his practice. Through silkscreen printing, controlled exposure, and sonic experimentation with long-form drone and feedback, Soffe emphasises duration, stillness, and mechanical imperfection. Across image and sound, these methods serve to reintroduce contingency, texture, and a human presence into increasingly automated and image-saturated environments.
